Owner & Instructor
Dir of the Maha Mana Yoga Teacher Training
In my everyday life, I’m a play-at-home mom, wife, yoga teacher, small business owner, artist, tinkerer, night owl, soul activist, nature- lover, a sucker for dessert, baby animals and a life well-lived barefoot and pants-less.
You can find me practicing on my mat and teaching with a wide-open heart here at my house, The Yoga House, pop up workshops around town and every First Friday at the Patrick Heath Public Library.
In my classes you can expect slow movements and static holding of poses, specific alignment cues, direction toward your internal experience and a feeling of connection to yourself and the present moment. Each class is designed to energize the body, cultivate a meditative consciousness, and give greater vitality and health. My teaching is rooted in self (i.e. solo) practice; it keeps me humble, honest, and growing. I’m convinced that no matter how far we progress in yoga, there is a part of us that ALWAYS feels like a beginner – great news if you are just starting out or considering a yoga practice.
The Yoga House is an actual house, and yup - we totally live here. We're located across the bridge from Fair Oaks and behind Flagstop Cafe. The studio can comfortably accommodate 10 practitioners at a time, making it a cozy little space where you're sure to get the individualized attention you need to help grow your practice. My aim is to create a fun, casual yoga space that physically nurtures the human body and empowers the human spirit while providing a sense of belonging and community among yoga practitioners.
Across the Bridge from Fair Oaks Ranch and the CVS pharmacy, take Tarpon Drive (between the Chevron and Flagstop Cafe) and Aqua Dr. will be the second street on the left. We are the 5th house on the right. Look for the sign on the fence.
